Baljer & Zembrod gets TOP 100 status

Company success in innovation contest Altshausen – Award-winning innovation: Baljer & Zembrod GmbH & Co. KG from Altshausen, near Lake Constance, has been awarded TOP 100 status for 2021. This scheme recognises particularly innovative medium-sized enterprises and is now in its 28th edition. Baljer & Zembrod successfully demonstrated its innovative capabilities in a scientific selection process.

On behalf of compamedia, organiser of the TOP 100 innovation competition, the innovation researcher Prof. Nikolaus Franke and his team examined Baljer & Zembrod's capacity for innovation.   The researchers looked at about 120 test criteria across five categories: top management that promotes innovation, innovative atmosphere, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success. The key question is whether innovation is the result of a systematic approach or simply the product of chance. In other words, how repeatable are these innovative capabilities? And consequently, do the resulting solutions prevail on the market and in what way? Due to the current situation, this assessment round included a special section in which the companies' response to the coronavirus crisis was also examined.
