RÖMER, SWITZERLAND: Recycling-Sorting Carriage RSW OBX-V

New sorting carriage pre-sorts and feeds scrap cutters in Switzerland

Römer AG is a family business specialising in the recycling and disposal of paper, metal, plastic and wood. Founded over 60 years ago in Wohlen, Switzerland, this family business professionally collects, sorts and recycles waste materials on behalf of private companies and the public sector. The machinery used by the company is correspondingly large and versatile, and takes care of crushing, shredding, pressing and loading tasks.

For sorting, the company acquired a new recycling sorting carriage with an OBX-V crane from Baljer & Zembrod in 2015. At Römer, this machine, which is painted in the company's colours, is used to pre-sort scrap metal and feed a scrap cutter. The sorting carriage has a track width of 4.5 m and a reach of 15.5 m, ensuring the crane operator always has a good overview of the entire sorting area. The delivery was carried out in cooperation with the distribution partner, Kiesel.
